There will be 30 semi-finalists: 28 voted for by readers and two wildcard entries decided by the official judging panel. The 14 males and the 14 females will be the entrants with the most votes on the official voting forms printed in the Express & Echo on Thursday, October 13 and Thursday, October 20, 2011, and those printed in the Mid Devon Gazette on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Plus votes via text between Thursday, October 13 and Thursday, October 27, 2011. Voting Coupons will NOT be accepted. Postal votes received after 12pm on Tuesday, October 25 will not be counted. Whilst every care is taken, the Express & Echo accepts no responsibility for incorrect spelling of names, or candidates entered but not appearing in the pages of the supplement(s). The number of votes gained by individual entrants WILL NOT be revealed. The two finalist will be selected from the semi-finalists by judging panel. The Editor’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Please ensure the correct postage is on the envelope to guarantee your votes will arrive before the closing date. The Express & Echo is not responsible for votes that do not reach us before the closing date due to incorrect postage and these votes will not be counted. Any cash prize offered in the competition will take at least six weeks to be processed.
