Dont forget voting for the first round of the highly anticipated Face of Exeter’s Princesshay competition is open THIS THURSDAY 13th October!

A special supplement in this week’s paper kick starts the voting so make sure you pick up the Express and Echo or Mid Devon Gazette!

It’s all about getting your friends and family to vote for you to secure your all important place in the semi finals. All competition entrants are encouraged to get as many votes as possible as the semi-finalists will be the entrants with the most votes on official voting coupons printed in The Express & Echo or Mid Devon Gazette or via our text entry system.

28 will be voted in by readers and 2 wild card entries will be decided by the official judging panel. Postal votes must be received by midday on the 25th October. Text votes can be received up until 9pm on 27th October. Voting officially closes at 9pm on 27th October.

Chantelle Znideric, The Face of Exeter’s Princesshay Stylist and Judge said, “This year we’re encouraging our competition entrants to get as many votes as possible. Tell all your friends and family to fill in a voting coupon from the paper and send it in or use the text voting system. Both are really easy! You could even start your own facebook campaign with details for all your friends on how to vote for you!”

The chosen entrants will get the special phone call on Friday 28th October to find out whether they have made it through to the semi finals stage.

Semi finalists will have their photograph printed again in the Mid Devon Gazette on November 1st and in the Express & Echo supplement on November 3rd  and will attend a semi finals judging evening on November 3rd in Princesshay Centre Management offices where the judges will make their selection of six females and six males for the final 12.

Wayne Pearce, Princesshay Centre Director and Judge said, “We’re looking forward to seeing who the readers vote for, before we meet and select the winners from the final 12 on November 3rd. By meeting the entrants their personality and commitment really comes across. Modelling is not just about good looks and specific shapes and sizes, but about character and individuality. You could be just what we are looking for”

On November 12th, the chosen 12 finalists will undergo a personal styling session with Chantelle Znideric as well as being mentored throughout the day by new judge for this year’s competition, Bethany Rose Harrison, who made it through to the semi-finals as one of the top three girls in the BBC show ‘So you think you can dance’. The finalists will then feature in a catwalk show in The Southgate Hotel Exeter in the evening. Each finalist will ‘strut their stuff’ in front of friends, family and the judges before the two winners – one male and one female – are announced as the new Face’s of Exeter’s Princesshay.
