Thirty finalists chosen for modelling contest

These are the entrants you have selected as the semi-finalists in this year’s Face of Exeter’s Princesshay competition.

All of your text and postal votes have been counted and there are now 30 men and women left in the contest – 14 males and 14 females were selected by you, while two wild card entries were decided by the offical judging panel.

There will now be a judging evening on Thursday 3rd November, in the Princesshay Centre management offices where a final selection of six females and six males will be made to make up the final 12.

Then on 12th November, the finalists will undergo a personal styling session with Chantelle Znideric as well as being mentored throughout the day by new judge for this year’s competition, Bethany Rose Harrison, who made it through to the semi-finals of BBC show So You Think You Can Dance.

The Finalisits will then feature in a catwalk show ar Exeter’s Mercure Southgate Hotel.

Each finalist will get their chance on the catwalk in front of friends, family and the judges, before the two winners – one male and one female – are announced as the new faces of Exeter’s Princesshay.

Wayne Pearce, Princesshay centre director and competition judge said: “now we’ve seen who pople have voted for, we’re looking forward to selecting the final 12. We’re thrilled with the response. Voting has really stepped up a gear. Entrants have been putting posters up around their colleges, universities and workplaces.”

The top male and female will represent Exeter’s award-winning shopping centre for a year by taking part in events such as the city’s Christmas lights switch-on and Princesshay’s Spring Fashion event. The prize also includes £500 each to spend in Princesshay’s top retail outlets, a session with a top professional stylist and personal shopper Chantelle Znideric from Topstylista, a photoshoot with a professional fashion photographer to build up a professional portfolio of images and an exclusive picture spread in the Express and Echo and the Mid Devon Gazette.
